Perry Black

Senior Pastor

Pastor Perry's unique teachings will keep you coming back for more!

Pastor Perry has served as the senior pastor of Family Church Bryant since its inception in 1990. Perry's humorous approach brings a fresh perspective to God's Word.  His one-of-a-kind messages are both practical and thought-provoking, yet always grounded in the Word.

Perry has dedicated his life to sharing the love of Jesus Christ since answering God's call to ministry in 1973.  During the 1980's he served as youth pastor at a local, well-renowned church.  He then began traveling across the country as a guest speaker at numerous churches, conferences, and other events.  Thousands of students' lives were also impacted as Perry visited their schools to conduct countless drug-free and suicide prevention programs.

To this day, young people remain a priority at Family Church.  With this focus in mind, in 2001 Pastor Perry founded Arkansas Christian Academy, a local private school committed to instilling Christian values, while also providing a traditional education.  In 2005, he founded Second Chance Youth Ranch, a group home for foster children.  Perry later developed a Transitional Living Program to better prepare those students transitioning from Ranch-life into adulthood.

Pastor Perry and his wife Janet married in 1973. They have two daughters, two sons-in-law, and seven grandchildren,  who are the highlight of their life.

Bradley Lattin

Youth Pastor

Pastor Bradley has a special gift in his ability to relate to youth, not only as a pastor, but also as a mentor and coach.

As a member of Family Church Bryant since 1997, Pastor Bradley had the privilege of joining the ministry team as full-time youth pastor in October 2012.  God's unique call on Bradley's life to reach young people was made evident in 2006 when he and his wife, Jennifer, obediently moved their family to Second Chance Youth Ranch to serve as houseparents.  Throughout the years, whether through houseparenting, volunteering in youth ministry, or serving as the director of men's ministries at the Union Rescue Mission, Pastor Bradley's central focus has always been reaching "the last, the lost, and the least" with the love of Jesus.  Today, when he's not leading in the youth ministry of Family Church, he can be found teaching chapel, coaching football, or serving as athletic director at Arkansas Christian Academy.  He and his wife, Jennifer, married in 1999 and enjoy ministering together, along with their two children, Gabrielle and Bailey.  Bradley's favorite getaway is a relaxing trip to the beach with his family.

Lance Goddard

Children's Pastor

Pastor Lance has a knack for teaching the complexities of God and the Bible to children in a way that not only holds their attention, but also provides them with a secure foundation, upon which to grow.

Pastor Lance received his call to work with children at the age of sixteen as a counselor at Camp Dry Gulch U.S.A.  He has served as the children's minister at Family Church Bryant since 1995.  His ability to passionately communicate the Word of God to children in simple, applicable terms is refreshing and inspiring as he challenges children to know, love, and honor God.  He has a two-fold vision of leading children into an intimate relationship with Jesus, while also training adults to effectively minister to children.  He and his wife Tina married in 1996 and have four lovely children: Kylie, Cassidy, Derek, and Jaclyn.  Pastor Lance enjoys exercising and spending time in the outdoors.

James Henley

Technology

James is always working, whether behind the scenes or out front, to help Family Church remain on the forefront of technology as he ministers using the gifts God has given him!

James first came to Family Church in 2000 as a 15yr old teenager looking to ride his bike in the FCB skate park near the teen complex. Little did he know, but God had bigger plans for him.  James gave his heart to Jesus during an evening service, and he has never looked back.  James, and his wife Lainna, attended Christ for the Nations in Dallas, TX. Upon graduation in 2008 , James came back home, ready to serve at Family Church wherever he would be needed. In fact over the years, James has filled many roles here at FCB with a true servant's heart, stepping in whenever and wherever he could best serve at the time.  He and his wife have been a vital part of the TNT youth ministry and have even served as houseparents at Second Chance Youth Ranch.  James is currently serving in multiple facets of the ministry as Broadcasting Director, IT Administrator, and Maintenance Supervisor.  He and his wife Lainna married in July of 2006 and have 3 daughters: Arlinda, Amelia, and Thelma.  In his free time, James enjoys outdoor sports, crossfit, photography, and traveling with his wonderful family!
